Happy Father's Day

We had a really great weekend. Saturday we went over to my mother and father-in-laws for a cookout and to spend the day with Robbie's dad. It was nice to spend the day with the family and the kids played outside a lot which is there favorite thing to do. We played corn hole and Robbie and my brother in law killed me and my sister in law but we had fun. Then Sunday we had my Dad, step mom, sister, her husband, and my niece Gracie over for a cookout at our house. Robbie grilled out steaks and potatoes and then I made some mushrooms for the steaks and we had corn on the cob and salad as well. Yum! Then my Dad brought strawberry pudding cake and strawberries to put on top with whip cream. It was so good. Let's just say that after this weekend I've probably gained about 10 pounds but it was well worth it.


Robbie said it was one of the best Father's Day. He spent the day with his kids which he loves and also his favorite Nascar driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. won for the first time in two years. So he was ecstatic about that. He also had his favorite meal, steak and potatoes. Robbie loves cooking on the grill so that made him feel good to cook for everyone. It was just a fun day and very relaxing.
