My son the Landscaper

My son has the weirdest fetish........he loves lawnmowers? I know that it could be worse, he could be fascinated by dolls, or makeup, something along those lines..... so that's good. But I just thought it was a little strange??? Most boys love trucks, cars, balls, etc...... It's so funny though every time he sees a lawnmower he goes nuts. He wants to push it or pull the string. He even makes the noises like he's starting it up. He is the same way with leaf blowers and weed whackers, but not as bad. He loves to follow behind my husband with his bubble mower when he cuts the grass, it's adorable. My babysitter said when she cuts the grass he will just stand there by the fence and watch the whole time, just dying to get out there and help. He pretends everything is a lawnmower. He has a book bag that has wheels on it that I use as the diaper bag, and everyday when we leave the sitters he pretends to pull the string and start it up. Then he pushes it down the driveway like he is mowing the grass. I know it's a little odd but it really is cute!

He found some lawnmowers in the adds I was looking at last night and he got really excited. He even had to go down stairs and show daddy. I guess maybe one day he will be a really good landscaper and make a lot of money. I could handle that!
