Bugs, Bugs, and more Bugs

Friday evening we decided to grill some steaks and sit out back on the patio. It started to get dark but it was such a nice evening we decided to sit out there for a little while. The kids were playing and enjoy the evening. We had the porch light on and that was the first time I noticed the bugs. Gotta love the summer time swarm of bugs around the lights. I couldn't believe the June bugs.....there were tons of them. Hello it's only April, I guess the name means nothing??? There were also these weird black jumpy bugs and some little gnat looking black bugs all over the screen. yucky! So the kids were intrigued by these nasty little beetles. At first they were looking at them and wondering where they came from and what they were called. Then Madisyn was screaming and running from them. Mason at first was wanting to play with them and look at them until they starting flying at his head and he seen his sister's reactions! It was quite hilarious to watch them. My husband decided to stick one to Mason's shirt. (you know how there legs are kinda sticky and stick to anything and everything) Surprisingly he didn't freak out, he calmly pulled it off of his shirt and handed it to Robbie but of course it stuck to his finger. He started shaking his finger and then he got a little panicked when it wouldn't come off. Then he was happy to just look at them and talk to them but he didn't want them on him anymore. It was very amusing to watch them!
